How do I get from Cebu airport to the Bohol Sea Resort?
The complete transfer can be organized by Bohol Sea Resort (transfer rates) or you can simply take a taxi to the pier. There are 2 piers (Pier 1 and Pier 4) that have more than 10 trips daily going to by fast ferries to Tagbilaran, Bohol. All ferries take about 90 minutes to Tagbilaran (ferry schedule) and expect to pay between 500 - 800 Pesos on economy class.
Once in Tagbilaran you will easily find a van for hire, taxi or tricycle waiting to take you to the resort. The rates will range between 200 to 600 Pesos (4 - 10 Euro). The drivers usually speak good English and the transfer is normally very easy, taking about 30 minutes.

How can I pay in the Bohol Sea Resort?
In the Bohol Sea Resort one can pay in Pesos, Euros and US$ or with credit card. Please be advised, that for payments with credit card (Visa, MasterCard) we have to add 4% bank fee.

Can I withdraw money from my account?
Yes. About 2 km away from Bohol Sea Resort is a BPI Bank with an ATM machine which accepts Visa, MasterCard as well as some other bank cards. Per card you may withdraw up to 30,000 Pesos per day (depending on your credit limit. Per withdrawal you may only request up to 10,000 Pesos plus a charge of 200 Pesos. But you may withdraw three times per card per day.

Where can I change money? What about money changers?
Euros and US$ can be exchanged in the Bohol Sea Resort at our daily rate. You can also find money changers in Alona Beach and in the city of Tagbilaran. In general, money changers will give bad rates to low denomination bills and bills that are dirty or have even minor damages.

What else can I / we do in Panglao & Bohol?
You can go on very nice island round trips with a motorbike or bicycle. You can rent motorbikes from the Bohol Sea Resort. During these round trip you can visit different beaches, caves, Spanish watch towers and old Spanish churches. A trip to the local market is - especially on Sundays - a very interesting experience.

On Bohol you can plan also a very nice day trip by motorbike or car/van. You can see the oldest church in South-East Asia, the smallest primates (Tarsier), water falls and the Chocolate Hills. Furthermore, on the way back you can stop in Tagbilaran city to stroll. There are two big and modern shopping centers with many shops offering branded items at often good prices.

Can I join the boat trip for snorkeling if I am not a diver?
Yes. We are very happy to have friends and family members join the divers on their trips. You can snorkel in such lovely places as Balicasag Island or Puntod.We charge 10 Euro per person for such a trip including snorkeling equipment.
